Originally from Hanoi, Vietnam, I first came to the U.S. in 2019 to pursue my college education after my secondary education in Singapore. While in college, I majored in Mathematics and competed in a national monetary policy contest organized by the U.S. Federal Reserve.
My hard work in college paid off when I graduated cum laude and secured a full-ride scholarship to law school. In the summer of my first year of law school, I gained valuable legal experience at a distinguished G.A.R. 100 Vietnamese law firm, where I had the opportunity to explore the field of international arbitration.
Currently, as a second-year student, I have significantly broadened my legal expertise through my engagement in the Vis East Moot Competition in Hong Kong and the pre-moot in San Diego, California, where our team triumphed as the competition's winner. These experiences have profoundly enriched my understanding of dispute resolution processes and honed my skills across various legal contexts, marking a notable achievement in my journey through moot court competitions.
As a law student in the U.S., I feel privileged to have been offered internship opportunities with the Arizona Supreme Court, the U.S. Federal District Court for the Southern District of California, and the U.S. Federal District Court for the District of Arizona. My academic excellence extends to Criminal Law, and I currently work as a research assistant in juvenile justice for a tenured professor.
In my free time, I commit to learning Chinese, proudly maintaining a Duolingo streak of over 500 days as of January 2024.
